Connection & setup

Each time you use the dashboard

  1. On each computer you want to monitor, run its collector. On Mac use Start Collector.command in the Agents status folder. Start Online.command also starts the Mac collector.
  2. On Windows, open Start Collector.cmd in your extracted collector folder. Leave its window open.
  3. Open or resume Codex and Copilot on both computers.
  4. Open your bookmarked private link on your phone or iPad. Only computers running agents need to stay awake and online.

The dashboard is hosted on Cloudflare at agents.zasady.com. It works when your Mac is off. A computer that is off shows disconnected; the other computer keeps reporting.

Bookmark the full link, including everything after #. Use this same full link during Windows setup. Anyone with it can access your dashboard.

Windows: first setup or update

  1. On the Windows PC, download the collector ZIP below. If this app does not save it, open the download link in Edge or Chrome.
  2. Extract the entire ZIP into a permanent folder, such as Documents\Agent Watch. Do not run files from inside the ZIP.
  3. Install Node.js 24 LTS from nodejs.org if needed.
  4. Run Setup Windows.cmd. Paste your full private agents.zasady.com link from above and enter a computer name. Use Setup Windows for this personal dashboard; Setup Hub is for the separate beta.
  5. Review and trust the installed Codex hooks, reload the agents’ MCP tools, and start a new turn in Codex and Copilot.
  6. Run Start Collector.cmd. Wait for Connected.
  7. Use the arrow on each Windows card to select its Codex or Copilot chat.

For an update, stop the collector, extract the new ZIP over the same folder, keep its .data folder, rerun Setup Windows.cmd, then Start Collector.cmd. Setup is needed once, after an integration update, or when changing the dashboard address.

Questions and alerts

Tell each agent: Use agent_watch.ask_user for ordinary questions and wait for my dashboard answer. Only questions asked through that tool can be answered here. Replies return to the original agent call. Native permission prompts stay in the agent app. Questions expire after 15 minutes.

Tap Sound off to enable alerts. Keep this page open. Rowing view enlarges the cards. If a card has the wrong chat, use its arrow to select another session.

If something is disconnected

If a computer is disconnected, check its collector and internet connection. The dashboard itself does not depend on either computer being on. If recent Codex chats are missing, run Diagnose Codex.cmd; use Set Codex Folder.cmd if it points to the wrong sessions folder. Reload the webpage after installing an update.
